Shopping This Week

Well, I finished my grocery shopping for the week. I spent $55 which is much better than last week, but still a lot in my opinion. My goal is to get that way down. I am not sure that I am sharing ingredients as much as I can and leaving a day for leftovers. I need to work on these things a little better. But my pantry is still full and I took advantage of some sales for items that I know I will use in the future.

Saturday the 15th will be a fun time. My friend Kathy and I have decided to try one new recipe per month, make it together and get our families together to eat. We are going to scrapbook during the day, then make our meal. I can't wait. I think it will be tons of fun. Her son, also a Brian, said it sounded scarey! Too funny.

I will keep you posted!

  1. Stopping by from Peggy's suggestion. I knew that wild woman when she was student teaching! Good luck on your blog.

  2. Stopping by too, per Peggy's suggestion. :) I've been doing the cooking once or twice a week and eating on the resulting meals for quite some time. Love roasting chickens...they're inexpensive, versatile, and the extra meat freezes well. I do much of my menu planning around what's on sale for the week. This is a great blog--keep it up!
