Moxxie's A-Muse-A-Palooza August Blog Hop

Hello Moxxie fans!  This month we are featuring one of our brand new collections Quite Contrary.   So dig out your garden photos and get ready because the Muses will be planting some great ideas in your creative minds for this beautiful line of papers and stickers.

The blend of muted tones is perfect for outdoor garden photo pages.   And if your thumb is not so green you can create fabulous cards and/or home decor projects.

I absolutely do not have a green thumb and although pictures of my weeds may make for a funny layout I am just not sure you guys would want to see that.  So, I chose pictures of my son and his girlfriend.  Just because they were taken indoors at Christmas time means nothing.  I think they look great with this line.  I converted them to black & white and then colorized Hailey's dress so the purple would stand out.  What do you think?

Along with the Quite Contrary line I used a strip of burlap netting, flowers, a little pink twine, a glassine bag, some purple bling, glimmer mist, kraft card stock, and Powder Puff Ink - coal miner.  I hope you like it.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

If you are familiar with the Moxxie Blog Hops then you know you can have a chance to win this brand new line.  All you have to do is leave a comment on all of the following blogs.    International fans are welcome to play along if they agree to pay shipping in the event they win.  Comments can be made until Midnight Tuesday, August 6th and the winner will be announced on the Moxxie Blog on Wednesday, August 7th! Enjoy!

  2. I like how you used the netting. It really ties the whole page together. I also like the idea of using gardening paper for "love in bloom." Nice work.
